Mobile Dental R&D — Vera Medical Vehicles

Revenue-first pivot: learned the entire dental business from service delivery to insurance billing. Converted a fifth wheel into a dental mobile unit with 2 chairs and full front office under Vera Medical Vehicles. After 5 years of mobile healthcare expertise (iMASQ, Bzozo), dental offered the clearest path — direct insurance billing, predictable per-visit revenue, and a massive underserved senior population.

ALF Discovery — The Captive Audience

Explored the dental market and discovered nursing homes and Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) as the ideal captive audience. First proof-of-concept at Crown Court, Citrus County. Then visited hundreds of ALFs across Florida to promote mobile dental. Unlike pharmacies, governments, and hospitals — ALFs wanted the service. Residents needed dental care, transportation was a barrier, and insurance paid directly.

Statewide Dental Services — Pensacola to Miami

Built services team and billing team under Vera Healthcare. Started active dental services at contracted ALFs. Expanded operations from Pensacola to Miami163 facilities tracked across 15 Florida counties, 61 with data collected, 94 remaining in pipeline. Vera Assisted Living Facilities — 79 Beds, 2 Locations

Why just serve ALFs when you can own them? Entered contract to buy Crown Court for $4M via VSEVA LLC. Simultaneously purchased Pleasant Grove. Both in Inverness, Citrus County. Rebranded to Vera Assisted Living Facilities. 79 beds across 2 locations. Created 60–80 new jobs. Full vertical integration achieved: Vehicles + Services + Facilities + Software.

Licensing, Operations & Investor Support

Role evolved from building to licensing and operating. Q1: getting licenses for Pleasant Grove while taking over complete operations of Crown Court. Managing staff, residents, compliance, inspections, and Medicaid paperwork across 79 beds. Q2: shifted into investor support mode — helping investors secure loans and arrange owner financing for facility acquisitions.

Buyer Transitions & Medicaid Delays

Q3: Helped the buyer close on Crown Court and secured licenses for Pleasant Grove — one facility transitioning out, one coming online in the same quarter. Q4: Medicaid billing and insurance contracts delayed. The same pattern from India (2020–2021 government contracts that never paid) appeared in Florida. Technology works, service works, patients are there — but payment infrastructure moves at its own pace.

Operating at 40% — Holding the Fort

Operating at 40% of projected income. Holding the fort for buyers while Medicaid contracts remain in limbo. The mobile dental fleet — ready to scale to 51 buses across 50 Florida counties — sits delayed. Ready: Services team, billing team, licensed facilities (79 beds), Fellow software. Expansion plans for MO, KS, NC, TX, GA. Blocked: One layer — billing infrastructure. Nine years, four countries, six companies — the hardest part of healthcare is getting paid.
