Six quarters that transformed mobile dental operations into a fully integrated healthcare business.
Revenue-first pivot: learned the entire dental business from service delivery to insurance billing. After 5 years of mobile healthcare vehicle expertise (iMASQ, Bzozo), dental offered the clearest revenue path — direct insurance billing, predictable per-visit revenue, and a massive underserved senior population. Converted a fifth wheel into a dental mobile unit with 2 operatory chairs and full front office under Vera Medical Vehicles.
Explored the dental market and discovered nursing homes and Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) as the ideal captive audience. First proof-of-concept at Crown Court, Citrus County. Then visited 541 ALFs across Florida — all assessed in person by the founder. Unlike pharmacies that wouldn’t adopt, governments that wouldn’t pay, hospitals blocked by politics, and churches where nobody showed up — ALFs wanted the service. Residents needed dental care, transportation was a barrier, and insurance paid directly. No middlemen.
Built services team and billing team under Vera Healthcare. Started active dental services at contracted ALFs. Expanded operations from Pensacola to Miami — covering the entire state of Florida. 541 facilities visited across Florida, data collected from field research. 20 ALFs now actively served by Vera Mobile Clinic with 480 active patients receiving mobile dental and primary care. For the first time, a sustainable revenue model running at scale.
Why just serve ALFs when you can own them? Entered contract to buy Crown Court (the same facility where the first dental POC was done) for $4M via VSEVA LLC. Simultaneously purchased Pleasant Grove. Both in Inverness, Citrus County. Rebranded to Vera Assisted Living Facilities. 79 beds across 2 locations. Created 60–80 new jobs. For the first time, full vertical integration: vehicles, services, facilities, and software all under one umbrella.

The oldest hotel in Citrus County — established 1880. Where the first mobile dental POC was conducted in Q3 2023. Acquired and repositioned as an upscale ALF. Built the Fox & Hounds Tavern — a 1920s speakeasy exclusively for residents. The only ALF in Florida with this amenity. Higher revenue per resident. Families choose it for dignity, not just safety.
Doors were closed. Residents gone. Staff gone. Community trust gone. Healthcare Engineering walked in and rebuilt it — one room, one resident, one celebration at a time. Went from completely shut down to full residential capacity in 3–6 months. Now a close-knit 24-bed community with personalized care.
For the first time, one entity controls the entire healthcare delivery chain
Vehicles + Services + Facilities + Software = Complete Control
No pharmacies. No government contracts. No hospital politics. No church volunteers. No middlemen.
“Families don’t just choose a facility for safety. They choose it for dignity. For joy. For a reason to get dressed up. We engineered that reason.”
